One of the many courses that The Hague University of applied sciences has to offer is the bachelor Information Services and Management, where students learn to create systems, workflows and methods for retrieving, disclosing and managing information.
To experience the various aspects of the semantic web and its applications, the students use the RNA environment and the RNA Toolset. They practice in constructing logical and useful knowledge systems such as thesauri, and in applying these in a reference network, together with content from digital resources. This way the students learn how semantic web techniques can be used to create knowledge systems and how content in these system scan be made findable and accessible.
