For whom
Trezorix develops solutions that provide the means to connect
all kinds of digital resources, existing and newly created, through
their metadata, in a findability layer. This layer is available as
a service to front-end applications and through these to the end
user. The overall objective is precise and integrated
findability.
The customers that use our solutions are mostly knowledge
institutions, such as museums, libraries, ministries and
universities that have built up considerable numbers of digital
resources (content).
Frequently existing content is being used that has been
collected and created over longer periods and by different
persons:
- the files are divided in various subsets that are stored in
different locations
- the content consists of heterogeneous files with diverse file
formats
- the content is maintained in several different systems
- the content is not retrievable in an unambiguous way and with
the use of coherent knowledge systems.
Our clients look for solutions for various problems, such
as:
- incomplete and noisy data: certain fields in datasets have been
left empty and certain values have been used inconsistently.
- findability: the information contained in the resources cannot
be retrieved in an unambiguous way.
- integration: the coherence between items from various resources
is frequently unclear and difficult to recover
- use and reuse: because of this, the useful application of the
collected information, as well as the development of new uses for
it, is often difficult
Our clients have the need for:
- a larger output on their content
- a broader use of their data, like the development of new web
applications for their existing content.
- an easy way to maintain and to build out their content
